Somali hospitality is renowned — guests are given the best food available. Meals begin with "Bismillah." Food is eaten communally from a large tray, right hand only. Camel's milk tea (shaah) is offered constantly. Refusing a third cup of tea is acceptable; refusing the first two is not.
